Hi, I’m Joanna!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
I'm a Badass Joy Coach, dietitian, nutrition therapist, Intuitive Eating Counselor, and Certified Feminine Embodiment Coach. Before awakening to Badass Joy Coaching, I only provided nutrition therapy through my private practice, Bodacious Nutrition. If you are interested in nutrition support- pop on over there to check it out!
My growth into Feminine Embodiment and Badass Joy Coach was not something I really chose- it was naturally laid out for me by the universe. Through grief, a lifetime of growing, and becoming more intuitive, I slowly unfolded into an embodied trait of seeing clearly.
Now I feel honored to be able to connect with the beautiful souls and amazing women this path has led me toward. I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to support my clients- I love this work!
I was a naturally joyful but contemplative child, then life happened, and I became more of the contemplative overthinker than the joyful. I truly feel like I've come home to my inner aliveness, and I also feel connected to source energy of universal love in a way that I've never known before.
If you know me, you know I'm pragmatic, grounded in science, and a realist- so I really mean this in a science of embodiment-type of way! When we heal our old wounds, we open up the ability to access that part of us that is nurtured and nurturing. It allows for a more grounded nervous system and an appreciation of our uniqueness. I call it owning my weird!
That is the favorite part of this journey for me- I can show up in my own strangeness with confidence. I even do improv shows now where I used to be terrified of the spotlight!
Badass Joy is so fun, guys.
A Bit About Me Personally
I’m a mom of three, married to my best friend, Dr. P. When I’m not hanging with my family, I teach nutrition and embodiment for mental health to adolescents and young adults, read and write, go to concerts and Ravens’ games, move my body, try to play chess with everyone I know, take care of my mom, and spend time with my girlfriends.
